A former member of the Texas football program, under former head coaches Charlie Strong and Mack Brown, found himself amid major off-the-field issues this week. Former Texas football starting offensive lineman Desmond Harrison was arrested in Greensboro, NC, on the week of July 19.
According to a report from the Greensboro News & Record, Harrison was arrested in North Carolina earlier this week. Harrison was rostered with the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL, and he was released from that team after the warrants for his arrest were released on July 17.
Harrison is a former top overall rated JUCO offensive lineman in the nation, and also was a member of the Cardinals and Cleveland Browns in the NFL last season.
