A big weekend for targets of the 2022 and 2023 Texas football recruiting classes, and this program itself on the trail, got off to a rather quiet start after visit news dropped on June 11. Texas wound up not getting a visit from the five-star Summer Creek offensive lineman Kelvin Banks (as once potentially anticipated) this weekend, and five-star Cy Park linebacker Harold Perkins did push back a visit with the USC Trojans for an official visit in Austin.
The theme of the big news surrounding the second weekend of visits on the Forty Acres continued on June 12 with more shifting and confirmation of schedules.
