The Texas football program got through the 2019 regular season with a record of 7-5 (5-4 Big 12). That was by no means what the expectations from the fan base or the national media had for Texas coming off a double-digit win 2018 season, appearance in the Big 12 Championship Game, and Sugar Bowl win over the Georgia Bulldogs.
There will continue to be a lot of comparisons for the Texas Longhorns football program as to what went wrong from last season up until now. Head Texas football coach Tom Herman can just continue to block the outside noise and improve his program until their postseason game arrives.
