Somehow, the Texas football program finds itself right in the midst of the emerging favorites early on for the 2020 national title odds. Texas sits in the midst of about the 10 or 15 teams with the best odds to win the 2020-21 College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
According to the Action Network, the Texas Longhorns football program sits with about 40-1 odds to win the 2020-21 national title. That ties with the Michigan Wolverines for the seventh best odds (bunching ties together) to win next season’s national title.
The favorite from those odds to win next year’s title is this season’s runner-up, the Clemson Tigers.
