AUSTIN, Texas – Texas football forced overtime against Kansas but falls 57-56 after a Jayhawk two-point conversion at DKR – Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
Xavier Worthy put up historic numbers after recording 14 receptions, one shy of the Texas single game record, and countless UT freshman records in Saturday's loss. The freshman finished with 152 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Kansas began Saturday night's scoring with a three-yard rush to the right to take the 7-0 lead. Added another touchdown with :36 left in the first quarter off an 11-yard pass from Jalon Daniels to Mason Fairchild.
