It’s a long road ahead for Texas football to get back to a respectable point after a Week 1 loss that will be hard to forget. With all the negatives that emerged from the 34-29 loss to the Maryland Terrapins, there were a few positive notes to take away. The Longhorns should not be sad about some of the production that came about from the receiving corps.
One of the best plays of the entire opening weekend for college football came from junior Texas wide receiver Devin Duvernay. In looking for a bounce-back season this year, Duvernay was named a starting receiver for the Horns next to two other juniors in Lil’Jordan Humphrey and Collin Johnson.
