It’s a Thanksgiving Day weekend edition of “Texas football commits in action”, where regardless of how frustrating it is to watch the Texas Longhorns from week to week, the future of the roster still looks bright the recruits committed to the program have shown themselves to be a very solid group.
The Longhorns’ two out-of-state football commits both had their senior seasons come to a close last week. Utah defensive lineman Van Fillinger walked off the field a state champion in his final high school game, while five-star running back Bijan Robinson’s team fell in a close matchup against a defending state champion in Arizona’s Open Division semifinals.
