Less than 24 hours after last week’s post was published, the Texas Longhorns’ 2020 recruiting class gained another member when wide receiver and former Texas A&M commit Troy Omeire announced he had flipped his commitment to Texas. Omeire became the 20th commit to join UT’s 2020 class, and the program’s 28th commit overall between the 2020 and 2021 classes.
One more commit makes these already long pieces even more lengthy, but just days after Omeire announced his commitment another 2020 commit was reported to have a season-ending injury, which may be a sort of pyrrhic victory in the weekly struggle for brevity in the composition of these posts.
