The state of Texas will kick off its 2018 high school football season this weekend, and among those taking the field for their first game will be ten of the Texas Longhorns’ 16 current commits (15 seniors and one junior). Six of UT’s seven out-of-state commits have already played their first game.
When the 2017 season ended, Roschon Johnson was still the lone committed member of what came to be marketed as Texas’s #fUTure19 class, so most of the other members of that group will be playing their first games as Longhorn commits tomorrow.
