Chris Warren III could have played a significant role for the Texas Football team in the 2016 season. However, during the fourth game of the year, he went down with a season-ending PCL injury. This came during his second consecutive 100-yard game.
With Warren out, this allowed D’Onta Foreman to take even more carries, and go on to rush for over 2,000 yards. So it was easy to forget about what the sophomore tailback had done and the promise he showed just one year prior.
Months later, Warren is still on the road to recovery, as he looks to join a potentially crowded running back mix in 2017.
