As of late, the daily news for Texas Football is either a major 2018 recruit verbally committing to Tom Herman or another player from the Charlie Strong Era leaving Austin.
On Thursday, it was the Charlie Strong aspect. The top recruit from Coach Strong’s final Texas recruiting class has transferred out of the program.
Linebacker Erick Fowler was rumored to be leaving the program and now he is officially gone.

Erick Fowler was a Top 15 national recruit in the 2016 college football recruiting class.
