The 2020 Texas football recruiting class seemingly missed out on yet another commitment since the coaching staff didn’t have it as an immediate priority. On July 4, a battling that whittled down to the Texas football program and the Oklahoma Sooners ensued to land the commitment decision of four-star C.E. King and Houston, TX, safety Bryson Washington.
Washington had a decision that did narrow down to just the Texas Longhorns and the Sooners. As we got closer and closer to his commitment date, Oklahoma was trending more in his direction than Texas was.
Two of the final official visits that Washington took were with the Longhorns and Sooners.
