The Big 12 is having a rough time getting their footing in the postseason. There’s only two teams left from this conference left to try and get its first win of bowl season. Those two teams include the Texas football program and the Baylor Bears. Texas will face the No. 11 ranked Utah Utes in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 31, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. CT.
And Baylor will take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1. Baylor is the Big 12 runner-up, and Georgia is the SEC runner-up. The Texas Longhorns football program was able to get the best of the Dawgs in the Sugar Bowl, when they were the Big 12 runner-up last season.
