A notable former tight end of the Texas football program reached a landmark point of his NFL career on Dec. 29. Denver Broncos rookie tight end Andrew Beck is in what should be the final week of his first season in the NFL. The Broncos took on another team in Week 17 that found itself out of the playoff picture, the AFC West divisional rival Oakland Raiders.
