The way that the Texas football program seemed to be trending up under the direction of third-year head coach Tom Herman gave this fan base hope to bring back the glory days once again. But Herman and his squad didn’t get it done against the pesky TCU Horned Frogs and head coach Gary Patterson for the fifth time in the last six tries in that matchup.
With that loss to TCU, by the final score of 37-27, the Texas Longhorns football program fell out of the AP Top 25 for the first time this season.
