With a much needed strong response after the upset road loss to the TCU Horned Frogs on Oct. 26, the Texas football program got the best of the No. 16 ranked (College Football Playoff Rankings) Kansas State Wildcats on Nov. 9. The bye week really did come at the perfect time for head Texas football coach Tom Herman after the loss to TCU.
