The top priority at wide receiver in the 2024 class for Texas football heading into the fall is the elite St. Louis University (MO) five-star Ryan Wingo. The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound wideout Wingo is the No. 2 prospect out of Missouri in the 2024 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking.
Head coach Steve Sarkisian, new wide receivers coach Chris Jackson, and the Longhorns have prioritized this recruitment since Wingo had a successful mid-June official visit to Texas. During his official visit to Texas from June 16-18, Wingo was hosted by none other than true freshman quarterback Arch Manning.
