The Kansas Jayhawks aren’t the usual suspect to land targets of various Texas football recruiting class. Yet, it was the 2020 Texas football recruiting class that lost out on four-star Bishop Dunne High School outside linebacker Brennon Scott to former LSU Tigers head coach Les Miles and the Jayhawks.
This Dallas, TX, native was the second defensive 2020 high school prospect that the Texas Longhorns football program missed out on in the past seven days. Scott joins a club that also includes four-star Duncanville safety and Auburn Tigers commit Chris Thompson Jr. as a fellow Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex recruiting target that passed up on a scholarship offer from the Longhorns.
