The Texas football program put together a solid recruiting class through the first Early Signing Day, and signed down all but one of the 22 commits. There’s still one hard commit left for Texas football recruiting to lock down before the cycle is officially in the books on National Signing Day 2019.
However, one signee that the Texas Longhorns should really be proud of inking on Dec. 19 is the four-star Cuero, TX, wide receiver Jordan Whittington. As a part of a very talented and highly touted class of wideouts, Whittington was the highest rated of the group and is also the only one that is set to enroll early and participate in spring camp.
