The trend of key targets for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class dropping finalist lists on social media in the past month or two didn’t stop on June 17. Texas football got word that it still sat among the finalist schools for a key four-star cornerback target, rising Aldine MacArthur High School senior Joshua Eaton.
For this 2020 recruiting class of cornerbacks, it isn’t necessarily the premier talent at the top that stands out. There are a host of talented cornerbacks at the top of this class, especially like five-star Texas target Kelee Ringo. But Eaton is one of a number of top 400 ranked 2020 high school prospects in the nation that could be a solid cornerback in college.
