Of the more than 120 prospects Texas football offered for the 2019 recruiting cycle, there’s a sole four-star athlete that sticks out as someone who could get more focus from the coaching staff leading up to National Signing Day. That four-star athlete is the 6-foot-2 and 210 pound Amite High School and Amite, LA, native Devonta Lee.
Moreover, Lee is one of the very few uncommitted and highly touted 2019 high school prospects left that is a target for head Texas football coach Tom Herman before National Signing Day. Lee is getting a lot of attention from some of the nation’s top blue blood programs including the Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, and LSU Tigers.
