A performance that was better than many people expected from No. 21 ranked Texas football in the regular season opener this weekend was delivered in a big win over the No. 23 ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. New head coach Steve Sarkisian saw his squad come out with a strong effort on both sides of the ball in a 20-point win over an experienced group led by Louisiana head coach Billy Napier.
You couldn’t hope for much better realistically out of Sark and the Longhorns in this critical regular season opener this weekend.
