The latest addition to the 2022 Texas football recruiting class was a big one for new head coach Steve Sarkisian, which came back on the afternoon of July 14 in the form of the four-star Denton-Ryan safety Austin Jordan. Texas landed the commitment of Jordan over the rival Oklahoma Sooners this week to bring the number of prospects in the 2022 class now up to 15.
Winning battles on the recruiting trail over the Sooners is always a big marker for the Longhorns.
