A once big time target of the 2020 Texas football recruiting class could be worth pursuing again. Texas three-star linebacker offeree Brennon Scott wound up committing to head coach Les Miles and the Kansas Jayhawks prior to the start of the 2019 college football season.
At one point during the 2019 offseason, the Texas Longhorns football program looked to be prioritizing the recruitment of Scott more so than most other linebackers they offered. Scott did see his recruiting ranking, and thus the stock the Longhorns had in his possible commitment, around the time of the 2019 Opening Finals.
