It seems like a very long time since the last time we watched any game featuring the Texas football program on the gridiron. While it was just around four months ago that Texas took down the No. 11 ranked Utah Utes in the Alamo Bowl on New Year’s Eve 2019 by the final score of 38-10, it seems like a year ago at least.
Texas finished up their 2019 season with a record of 8-5 (5-4 Big 12) after their win over Utah in the Alamo Bowl. That was a pretty pedestrian finish to a year where Texas held a preseason ranking in the top 10.
