Texas football had a major announcement coming on May 16 that will be an awesome sight for the college football world, with a home-and-home against the Alabama Crimson Tide. This series is slated for the 2022 and 2023 college football seasons, so it’s still pretty close all things considered. Most home-and-homes of this magnitude are scheduled for at least 7-10 years out, much like the Horns had with the USC Trojans.
The upcoming non-conference slate for Texas stacks up extremely difficult. After the Horns get done with the home-and-home series with USC this year, they still have upcoming series with the LSU Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Michigan Wolverines.
