There were mixed results coming out of the Texas football program for the 2019 NFL Draft, but it was mostly three days to move past from this team’s and fan base’s perspective. A handful of the undrafted free agents coming from the 2018 Texas football team didn’t get their desired result in this draft.
A good example of the faults for Texas football in the 2019 NFL Draft came with the lapse in the stock of wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey. Having gone from a projected third or fourth round to the undrafted free agent signing of the New Orleans Saints was a microcosm of his draft process.
