One of the biggest concerns for No. 6 ranked Texas football heading into a key Oct. 27 matchup against the Oklahoma State Cowboys was the type of atmosphere it would be walking into on the road at Boone Pickens Stadium. While Stillwater, OK, can be one of the wildest atmospheres to play in for any team in the Big 12, the Texas Longhorns have and will see worse this year.
To be considered a true contender for the College Football Playoff this year like it should be, Texas football needs to take care of business against inferior opponents even in an atmosphere like this.
