Preparation is taking place on and off the field for the Texas football program as we’re now just five days away from this team taking the field in the Alamo Bowl against the No. 11 ranked Utah Utes. On Dec. 28, Texas will have their last crack at rectifying what turned out to be a pretty disappointing 2019 season.
Texas carries a record of 7-5 (5-4 Big 12) into the Alamo Bowl to face an 11-2 (8-2 PAC-12) Utah team led by head coach Kyle Whittingham. Head Texas football coach Tom Herman will be trying to counter a strong and balanced Utah team with a young and injured squad.
