Texas football doesn’t have one single superstar coming back for the 2018 campaign, but it does have a few key names to watch. With so many seniors coming back on both sides of the ball, the Longhorns have numerous candidates that would qualify as potential All-Americans if all goes right this fall.
Last season, Texas had two players named to All-American teams. And, a few others received some major awards like defensive tackle Poona Ford garnering All-Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year honors. Former Texas safety DeShon Elliott was a First Team All-American by way of his six interceptions a year ago.
