The injury bug is never a good thing to bite a program like Texas football through fall camp. Spring camp isn’t as impactful for minor injuries as fall practice since the start of the regular season is right around the corner. Through the first two weeks of fall camp, the Longhorns have seen quite a few players that might no longer be available for the season opener on Sep. 1.
With a matchup for the second straight year awaiting against the Maryland Terrapins, having numerous players either transfer out or missing due to injury in fall practice is very costly.
