Now that the Texas football program got off their feet under head coach Tom Herman in 2018, and experienced a down year last season, it’s time to really see how far this team can go under the current coaching regime in 2020. Texas finished with a record of 8-5 (5-4 Big 12) after beating the Utah Utes in the Alamo Bowl by the final score of 38-10. Finishing up the regular season with seven wins, and if not for the Alamo Bowl win over No. 11 ranked Utah, Herman would be under much more pressure at the moment.
Entering the 2020 season, Texas will be sporting a much different looking coaching staff, including new offensive and defensive coordinators.
