It was a nice result for the Texas football program and fourth-year head coach Tom Herman over the weekend, getting a big 17-13 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers at home back on Nov. 7. Texas moved to a record of 5-2 (4-2 Big 12) on the season, with a No. 21 slot in the latest AP Poll and No. 24 in the Coaches Poll, heading into the second bye week of the conference slate.
The Longhorns have now built a three-game winning streak heading into the bye week after their narrow four-point victory over West Virginia.
