Texas football wouldn’t be the first program that comes to mind in the nation for the 2018 campaign as full of Heisman contenders. The first teams that would even come to mind in the Big 12 would be the West Virginia Mountaineers with quarterback Will Grier and wide receiver David Sills V and the Oklahoma Sooners with quarterback Kyler Murray and running back Rodney Anderson.
Yet, the Longhorns could wind up with some under the radar Heisman contenders even once we hit the bulk of Big 12 play this fall. Once Texas head football coach Tom Herman is able to figure out the quarterback situation and hopefully get the offensive line going, the entire offense could take off.
