Texas flag flies high over Kansas campus during Longhorns-Jayhawks game

It was already an important morning in Lawrence, Kansas as the Texas Longhorns had a chance to punch their ticket to the Big 12 championship game against the Kansas Jayhawks.

But while the game was already underway at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, a little bit of Texas also took over a different section of the Kansas campus.

According to Lawrence-Journal World, some apparent game-day pranksters replaced a Kansas flag that traditionally flies atop Fraser Hall - a building on the university's campus - with a Texas state flag.

The Texas flag didn't fly for long after campus police were alerted to the state-on-state maleficence, and the university returned the proper Kansas flag to its perch.
