The Texas Longhorns remain in the market for their first 2020 defensive pledge, and Tom Herman and his staff added another name to their big board on Tuesday, as Texas extended an offer to Houston Cy Creek outside linebacker Josh White.
A former Oklahoma State commit, White re-opened his recruitment in late January, but in the immediate aftermath of White announcing his Texas offer, his first Crystal Ball projection was placed in favor of the Longhorns. Per Horns247’s EJ Holland, White recently unofficially visited Texas.
Now one of just six outside linebacker prospects with a Longhorns offer, and only the second in-state talent, as he joins Bishop Dunne standout Brennon Scott, White holds more than two dozen offers to date.
