The Texas Longhorns are in search for another talented out-of-state prospect after extending an opportunity to 2021 Ironton (OH.) athlete Reid Carrico, the rising junior announced on Twitter Tuesday evening.
The Ohio native is no stranger to receiving attention from top Power 5 programs. Carrico has now garnered 20 total offers from schools such as Florida, Florida State, Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin.
Considered one of the nation’s top athlete’s in his class, Carrico has proven to get the job done in multiple phases of the game during a strong sophomore showcase, as he starred making plays out of the backfield and also was a force at linebacker.
