An important target for the Texas Longhorns has set his commitment date, as Texarkana Texas High edge Derrick Brown revealed on Thursday that he’ll announce his decision on July 20.
A 6’4, 210-pounder who is rated as a consensus four-star prospect, Brown visited Austin during the first visit weekend in June after the dead period was finally lifted for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic started. Brown seemed to come away impressed with what he saw.
