Texas DT target Moro Ojomo sets decision time

The recruiting rivalry between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners in the 2018 class will add one final chapter on Tuesday evening when Katy defensive tackle Moro Ojomo makes his announcement:

The 6’3, 280-pounder technically has a top list of Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, Texas, and TCU, but that was released back on January 11, before Ojomo took any of his official visits.

In the weeks since, the late-rising prospect visited Oklahoma, Texas, Miami, and Oregon, though the Hurricanes and Ducks aren’t considered serious contenders.

Texas had the benefit of offering Ojomo in early December before his recruitment took off, with Texas A&M, Tennessee, Oregon, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Miami, and Alabama all extending offers after the Longhorns.
