On Thursday, standout Arlington Lamar defensive tackle Bobby Brown announced his decision date on Twitter:
The Texas Longhorns are one of the 20 schools in pursuit of the 6’4, 275-pounder, but are most likely on the outside looking in during the final hours of Brown’s recruitment.
The strongest contenders are Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M — the Crimson Tide and Sooners have both hosted the consensus four-star prospect for official visits in recent weeks. So has Florida State.
However, the biggest tip-off could be the timing of what may be his last official visit, as Brown is scheduled to be in College Station on Friday.
