After four years in the Lone Star State, Texas Longhorns defensive end Malcolm Roach will return to The Boot by signing with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent, according to multiple reports.
The 6’2, 297-pounder had an outside shot at hearing his name called in the 2020 NFL Draft as a seventh-round selection, but benefited from becoming an undrafted free agent by getting his choice of destinations. Now the football career of the Baton Rouge native will come full circle.
Not only that, Roach may have a chance to establish himself as a defensive tackle in the NFL after struggling to find a permanent position in college.
