AUSTIN -- Texas defensive coordinator Todd Orlando and offensive coordinator Tim Beck met with the media Wednesday evening after practice to preview Saturday night's game against Texas Tech (5-4, 3-3 Big 12).
Here are three takeaways from Wednesday's availability:
1. Fixing run defense is No. 1 priority
It's been a frustrating last two weeks for Todd Orlando. Oklahoma State and West Virginia's offenses pretty much had their way with Texas' defense both in the air and on the ground, the latter of which Orlando diagnosed as the biggest issue.
During the 38-35 loss to Oklahoma State in Stillwater, the Cowboys put up 502 total yards, including 181 on the ground.
