AUSTIN -- The second-seeded Longhorns are headed to the NIT semifinals, after a 68-55 victory over fourth-seeded Colorado on Wednesday night at the Frank Erwin Center. Texas improved to 19-16 on the season.

1. Longhorns cruise past Buffs after huge first half
So much for close games.
The Longhorns played the first half Wednesday night as if they were fed up of having to grind out recent NIT victories over South Dakota State and Xavier, which went into overtime.
Texas opened up a 44-19 lead over Colorado at the half and never looked back.
