The Longhorns have seen a lot of ups and downs over the past few seasons.
But Texas' 24–21 loss to Kansas Saturday may be the hardest for the team to swallow. Texas now sits at 5–6 heading into the last game of the season. A loss to TCU next Friday would mark the Longhorns' second-straight 5–7 finish under head coach Charlie Strong.
"It's just sad," sophomore tackle Connor Williams said. "It's saddening to be where we are right now."
Williams said Strong didn't have much to say after the loss — the emotion in the locker room spoke for itself.
