AUSTIN, Texas — Needing to avoid a home loss to one of the worst teams in the conference, the Texas Longhorns returned to the Moody Center on Wednesday and suffered a bad defeat to the desperate Arkansas Razorbacks, 78-70.
Needing close to 30 minutes to break the 30-point threshold, Texas struggled offensively for almost three quarters of the game, trailing by 11 at halftime and as many as 23 points in the second half before mounting a 12-0 run that got them within nine points, eventually narrowing the margin to five points twice before the comeback fell short.
