AUSTIN -- Texas sophomore quarterback Sam Ehlinger is still progressing "on schedule" in his recovery from a shoulder sprain, head coach Tom Herman said Monday morning during his Big 12 teleconference call with the media.
Ehlinger suffered a first-degree AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder on the first drive of Texas' 23-17 win over Baylor on Oct. 13.
Herman said Ehlinger threw a Nerf football 10 times and a real football 20 times on Sunday. Ehlinger also took reps with run plays during scout team work on Sunday, per Herman. Ehlinger is scheduled to throw a real ball again 30 times on Monday.
