Well, at least it’s been a few years before Kris Boyd stirred up a social media controversy.
The infamous halftime retweet during the Cow Town Beatdown in 2015 gave way to a period of relative quiet for the Texas Longhorns senior cornerback, but the criticism of the defense’s performance on Saturday against the Oklahoma State Cowboys by former Texas linebacker Emmanuel Acho apparently set Boyd off.
Following a suspension for the first quarter after arriving late to a team function and a poor performance thereafter, Boyd lashed out at Acho on Instagram on Sunday:
Acho, who now works for ESPN after spending two years at the Longhorn Network, did have himself quite a day on Twitter.
