One of the big goals for the Texas Longhorns heading into the game with the Rice Owls was to come away injury-free and that may not be the case.
After getting rolled onto in the second quarter, starting center Zach Shackelford was slow to get up and left the field walking with the assistance of coaches and trainers. A short time later he was carted off the sideline with his right sock and shoe removed, an apparent right foot injury.
Zach Shackelford, with his right sock and shoe off, is out of the medical tent on the #Texas sideline and is being taken by cart off of the field and up the tunnel.
