The series finale between the No. 12 Texas Longhorns and Baylor Bears has officially been washed away by rain after a second rain delay that lasted well over four hours.
Quite unfortunate circumstances for the Longhorns, which had jumped out to a 6-0 lead and appeared to be well on their way to big series win.
Per the Big 12’s rainout rule, the game will not be made up.
The Longhorns return to Austin to take on the Rice Owls Tuesday at 6:30 P.M. CT. The Longhorns beat the Owls 11-4 in the first meeting between these two clubs back on February 19.
