It was not a good weekend for the Texas basketball program with only one opportunity to prove its status as a top 25 team. Texas basketball carried a No. 17 ranking in both polls into its Nov. 30 battle against the Radford Highlanders at home on the Forty Acres.
Entering the matchup against Radford, Texas basketball had its first top 25 ranking of the season and a 5-1 record. Coming out of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational, Texas basketball needed to kick this six-game home stretch off on the right foot. Radford was a big chance to notch a quality win over a solid opponent.
